Currently, you can personalise the following designs:

• Briefcases from the Vanguard collection
• Briefcases from the Havane collection
• Desk mats and mouse pads
• Cardholders
• Leather planners & Conference folders
• Women's shoulder bags

Add your item(s) to the basket, along with the "Custom Engraving" product and proceed with your order.
If you are purchasing a bag and folder and would to engrave both for example, remember to purchase 2 "Custom Engraving" products.

On the checkout page, you will find a space labeled "Order notes".
Use this space to describe what you would like to engrave.
To make sure we make no mistake, leave some space before, and after the text to engrave.
Don't forget any full stop you would like to have in between the capital letters of your initials for example.
We will respect what you write, including lower, and upper case letters.

If you want to engrave an image, simply write "I would like to engrave an image". And once the order is paid for, send us the file to shop@ruitertassen.com or discuss your needs with us so we can help you out. Read the question below "How to engrave an image?" for more details.

We need black outlines, or shades of grey on a transparent background. The file should be in PNG format.
If you have, or can produce the file, that's great.
If you can't, our graphic designer can help you achieve the engraving of your dreams. Please note this will incur a fee that we can only estimate once we have discussed what you wish to engrave.

Currently, we have specific locations attributed to each type of bag or accessory.

- On all bags, and shoulder bags the engraving is situated under the flap, visible only when the bag is opened.
We will make the engraving at the center when possible, or on the right hand side when the center isn't possible (if there's a lock in the way for example).

- On cardholders, the engraving is made at the back, along the lower side.

- On desk mats and mouse pads, the engraving is made along the upper side, in the middle.

- On agenda covers and portfolios, we will make it inside, on the pocket flap.

For sentences, such as full names or personal motto, we use Baskerville.

For initials written in capitals, we use Century Gothic.

Once your order is made and you have requested an engraving, the order cannot be exchanged or refunded.
